Geometric in Properties and Relationships

The children are able to examine models of geometric figures identify properties and relationships. They form generalisations about the relationships of geometric figures to one another

The major objectives of teaching geometry in the primary grades are to enable pupils :

To identify various geometric figures from physical models, including the square, rectangle, circle, triangle, cube, cylinder. pyramid, cone, and sphere.
To recognise certain properties of shapes from physical models and drawing, with some attention to type of regions, edges, angles, sides, and so on.
To sort, compare, measure, and draw various geometric plane figures.

At the elementary school level, pupils are informally taught concepts and general notions about geometric figures, without formal definitions and proof.

Ayah manapun pasti merasa senang

Melihat anaknya memiliki kemajuan

Dalam belajarnya.

Melihat anaknya sudah bisa membaca saja itu sudah menjadi hal yang luar biasa bagi sebagian ayah yang mengikuti tumbuh kembang anaknya.

Sebuah kisah serupa terjadi di sebuah ruang kerja seorang ayah yang sedang menyusun berkas-berkas lama di sudut ruangnya.

Tiba tiba ia medengar anak tertuanya membaca dengan keras membaca sesuatu yang ada di depannya usai meletakkan mobilan kesayangannya. Meskipun dengan terputus-putus, atau tersendat-sendat ia sudah menampakkan kecakapannya, juga sempat menghentikan sang Ayah yang mengijinkannya untuk bermain di ruangnya.

"... kepada ybs. diberikan akan diberikan penghargaan....".

Ia berhenti dan berlari mendekati ayahnya, menarik lalu membawa ayah mendekati meja, "ybs ini apa sih yah?". Dengan senyum gembira ayah menjelaskan, "Oh itu cuma singkatan maksudnya yang bersangkutan, Kakak sudah pinter baca ya... ayah senang sekali."
